From the first phone call up to the final presentation, I would never have foreseen myself at my current position as the Assistant Manager for Integrated Lean and Six Sigma (IL6S) at Prai Plant. I feel so lucky to be one of the few that were selected as a Graduate Trainee with Mondelēz International through the iTaste Program. As a Graduate Trainee there is never a dull moment. There are many opportunities and challenges awaiting you but I would rather take it as learning opportunities and self-development. Even though my functional role is in Manufacturing, I was also exposed to other functions as well such as Sales and Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC). This experience has made me a well-rounded and dynamic person. Besides that, who am I without those leaders that have been couching and guiding me throughout my journey here in Mondelez. I am truly grateful and fortunate enough to be selected as one of the Graduate Trainees in Mondelez Malaysia at year 2015 (one of the world's largest snacking companies). I was given the opportunity to work in several roles including sales and manufacturing despite I am an engineering student. I am truly grateful to be part of the big Mondelez family. Being able to involve in different roles was one of the best learning experience that I have gained at my early stage of career. This has taught me how work and personal life are inter-related where managing people is one of the main essences for both.
